Greetings — As I’m here in Jerusalem participating in the Global Forum on Antisemitism I’m reminded by a recent U.S. headline of why I am so passionate about my work to fight the age-old hatred of the Jews. Were you aware that Councilman Trayon White of the District of Columbia just made news by blaming the recent snowstorms on the fact that “the Jews” are changing the weather? It would be a pathetically funny comment if it weren’t so representative of the ignorance and prejudice of anti-Semitism. Sad for America that we are electing men like this who think anti-Semitic rhetoric is acceptable! Our Jewish brothers and sisters need your help now more than ever.
