Majority Believe Medical Professionals Pushing ‘Gender Affirming’ Care for Underage Minors are Motivated by Profit, Not Concern for Youth
Majority Believe Rise in Transgender Interest Among Underage Minors Due to Social Media, Cultural Influences
(Manitou Springs, CO—October 25, 2022) Summit.org, in partnership with McLaughlin and Associates—one of America’s most respected polling survey firms—is releasing the results of a recent national survey. Results were from a survey of 1,000 likely general election voters nationwide and was conducted October 12th through October 17th.
“Americans disagree on many issues, but they are united in saying that the transgender movement has gone too far. They overwhelmingly suspect that social media and the medical industry are exploiting children for self-serving financial gain,” said Dr. Jeff Myers, President of Summit.org. “The burning question is, why are so many people silent if they believe the transgender movement is harming kids? What will it take for Americans to overcome the intimidation and say, ‘Enough is enough?’”
All interviews were conducted online; survey invitations were distributed randomly within predetermined geographic units. These units were structured to correlate with actual voter turnout in the general election. This poll of 1,000 general election voters has an accuracy of +/- 3.1% at a 95% confidence interval.
