Wow, the LA Waterfront in Southern California is alive, filled with excitement and America’s best for this year’s Memorial Day weekend event! There is no charge to those attending this celebration of what our men and women of the US Military forces have given us through their sacrifices. The Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard are all here along with Live Music, ship tours (Like the Battleship IOWA), personal inspections of the military helicopters, Humvees, Personnel Vehicles, Amphibious Vehicles, aircraft flyovers, exhibits, food trucks and so much more! To make sure everyone could recharge their energy, Bucked Up was offering free samples of their awesome energy drinks! Adam, one of their fabulous reps, was very helpful in expressing all of the finer aspects of their products. I selected the Miami and “loved it”! Now I’m looking for their products in my local store!
There was so much excitement going on all around me, I could only smile and thank my father, grandfather and all those who are serving or have served in our armed forces to give us the Freedom we have now. Freedom is not Free and too many have forgotten what the Greatest Generation fought against and those before them. Abraham Lincoln was known to have said that no country will be able to take us by force but we will be attacked from within… Darn, it’s happening now!
