Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente set for Dec. 27 at 10:00 a.m.

San Diego, CA – Dec. 19, 2024 – The Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente will return on Friday, Dec. 27, at 10:00 a.m. The parade follows its traditional route along Pacific Highway, passing the County Administration Building and ending where North Harbor Drive meets Pacific Highway. Thousands of spectators are expected, with a live stream available on CBS 8+ and at www.HolidayBowl.com.

About the Parade

The Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente will showcase giant balloons, specialty units, marching bands, and colorful floats, bringing the waterfront to life.

Parade Viewing: Free along the street.

Grandstand Seating: $30 per seat, available at holidaybowl.com

Event Details

Road Closures: Harbor Drive from Grape Street to Broadway will be closed on Dec. 27 from 7:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Transportation: Parking is limited; use public transportation or the San Diego Trolley for convenience.

Game Day Festivities

The 45th Annual DIRECTV Holiday Bowl will kick off at 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 27 at Snapdragon Stadium, featuring a #21 Syracuse vs. Washington State matchup televised nationally on FOX. After the game, enjoy the 101.5 KGB Sky Show, lighting up the San Diego skyline for the third consecutive year.
