| (WASHINGTON, D.C.) Thursday, March 5, 2026 – Ryan Dobson, bestselling author, internationally sought-after speaker, and leading voice in modern donor development and philanthropic strategy at Dobson Philanthropic, had a packed week at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) 2026 International Christian Media Convention, held February 17–20 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. Dobson appeared in numerous interviews and broadcasts to discuss The Covenant, a new media project he executive produces and represents as spokesperson. Dobson also accepted several tributes on behalf of his late father, Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family. The NRB convention, recognized as the world’s largest gathering of Christian communicators, drew more than 5,700 attendees from across the globe, including international participants from 43 countries. Together with Ron Daw, Founding CFO of The Chosen, Dobson spent time sharing about his new media project, The Covenant. Written by Andrew Klavan and produced by Cyrus Nowrasteh, The Covenant is based upon the stories of the Old Testament. It explores the dramatic characters and relationships of the Old Testament through the lens of families, faith, and the power of making and keeping covenants. The audience will see themselves in the struggles, setbacks, and successes of some of the greatest people of all time like Abraham, Joseph, Elijah, Daniel, Moses, Ruth, and Esther. From patriarchs and prophets to saints and sinners, the audience will re-discover the oldest stories of all time in a way that’s true to every faith tradition. “I became involved with The Covenant, a project centered on the Hebrew Scriptures,” said Dobson, “not because the Church needs new content, but because it needs old roots. When Christians immerse themselves in the Torah and the Prophets, they recover the covenant framework that shaped Jesus, the apostles, and the early Church. It’s designed to draw viewers back into the Old Testament through stories and situations we can see in our own lives today.“ For more information on The Covenant, visit thecovenant.tv. Dobson’s late father, Dr. James Dobson, was honored during the convention at a special event hosted by RK Media. The elder Dobson was honored for a life and legacy of faithful service and a life well-lived for Christ. |
