NASHVILLE, TENN. – Oct. 15, 2018 – RUN THE RACE—an inspiring film about two young brothers facing unbelievable odds with an unbreakable bond—announces a distribution deal with Roadside Attractions with a nationwide release set for Feb. 22, 2019.

“I wanted to be part of something that’s encouraging and inspirational to the viewer. I believe RUN THE RACE accomplishes this by showing two brothers struggling with real life, but getting through it by supporting each other and their faith,” said Executive Producer and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. “I hope those who see it can walk away with more faith, hope, and love.”

The trailer and key art are also available now for RUN THE RACE featuring the film’s focus on “The Weight of the World. The Love of a Brother.” To download trailer and key art, click here for press room access.

Supporting cast includes Kristoffer Polaha, Mario Van Peebles and Heisman-winner Eddie George, along with many others. Synopsis
In RUN THE RACE, two desperate brothers sacrifice today for a better tomorrow.

Reeling from his mother’s death and his father’s abandonment, Zach, an All-State athlete, finds glory on the football field, working to earn a college scholarship and the brothers’ ticket out of town.

When a devastating injury puts Zach—and his dreams—on the sidelines, David laces up his track cleats to salvage their future and point Zach toward hope.

In theaters Feb. 22, RUN THE RACE shows what’s possible when you run to—instead of from—the overwhelming love of God.

“I CAN ONLY IMAGINE, Roadside’s highest grossing film, affirmed that inspirational, quality faith-based stories can reach a huge, highly-valued audience,” said Roadside Attractions Co-Presidents and Co-Founders Howard Cohen and Eric d’Arbeloff. “Tim and Robby Tebow are fantastic partners, and we believe their RUN THE RACE will be embraced as enthusiastically by audiences nationwide.”

“Roadside Attractions’ experience with independent films makes them the perfect distribution partner for RUN THE RACE,” said Executive Producer Bill Reeves of WTA Group.

Principal filming on RUN THE RACE was in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to Robby and Tim Tebow and Reeves, executive producers include Erik Weir, Trey Brunson, Joe Kosakowski and Erik Dellenback.
