This marks five consecutive years Deer Valley Resort has been honored with the esteemed accolade and comes on the heels of also being named the #1 ski resort in North America by the readers of SKI Magazine. The World Ski Award winners represent excellence in ski tourism and the leaders shaping the future of the ski industry.
Over the past several months, a record number of votes were cast by travel consumers and leading ski tourism professionals worldwide, such as senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents and media. National winners were celebrated at the 2017 World Ski Awards Gala Ceremony November 17-19 in the legendary winter sports destination of Kitzbühel, Austria. Ski tourism figureheads and market leaders from North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australia were in attendance as the World Ski Awards winners were unveiled.
