It’s an historic day in Israel, a day of euphoria and celebration, but mixed feelings about what will be coming next.  All the living hostages have been released by Hamas and returned to Israel from which they were kidnapped two years ago. The bodies of 28 remaining hostages, most of whom were killed in captivity, are starting to be released. But Hamas is still standing, threatening Israelis and Gazans. 2000 terrorists are being released, 250 of whom are serving one to as many as dozens of life sentences. The victims and family members of these terrorists are scarred. Israelis know that 82% of previous terrorists released have gone back to terror.

President Trump arrived in Israel and pledged his support and optimism for Israel’s future and the region on the whole. All of this has been historic, and many developments are unfolding still. Please join us, and several Christian friends, on the ground in Israel who have experienced the elation and will share their thoughts and observations about what the world needs to know and understand from this historic moment. Marziyeh Amirizadeh is the founder of NewPersia.org and co-founder of Root & Branch, Israel’s olive harvest pilgrimage. She was born in Iran where she became a Christian, and was arrested and sentenced to death for the “crime” of apostacy. She is in Israel for her fourth time since 2023, preparing to welcome the next team of olive harvesting volunteers. John Haller is a retired lawyer and now a conference speaker, YouTube host and pastor, regularly covering geopolitics, technology developments and Israel. He is finishing a tour he has lead and coming back to Israel next month for the Christian Media Summit. Dr. Tricia Miller is the director of CAMERA’s Partnership of Christians and Jews. She just arrived in Israel on Sunday for several weeks, which put her here just in time to witness first-hand the historic events taking place this week. Irma Robin is a House congregation leader with Tree of Life Ministries. She supports Israel through various projects for IDF, Holocaust survivors, schools, and individual families.
