production innovations at NAB 2023 in the Central Hall at booth #C6717.
Band Pro will screen their new 8K short film ‘Make Believe’ directed by ASC
Technical Achievement Award-winner Sam Nicholson and shot by DPs Randy
Wedick, Eve Cohen and Richard Crudo, ASC. ‘Make Believe’ was captured on
Sony Venice 2 using Sony’s new Rialto 2 extension system, and lensed with full
frame Angenieux Optimo Primes. Created in partnership with Sony, and shot
entirely on Stargate Studios’ virtual LED stage, ‘Make Believe’ provides a
compelling look at modern virtual production techniques combined with state-ofthe-art camera & custom-look cinema lens technology.

Angenieux’s new, next generation U35/FF Full Pack set of Optimo Ultra Compact
zoom lenses will be shown at NAB 2023 for the first time anywhere and available
for live demos in the Band Pro booth.
Also featured this year will be the latest Integrated Optical Palette (IOP) custom
look options for Angenieux Optimo Primes, including the new Pearlescent, and
Tiffen Blue Streak internal IOP filters. Cine lens evaluation demos will be
provided throughout the show featuring the latest Opti-Glide Portable Test
System by MYT Works and new critical lens evaluation “PAT Charts” by Prêt À
Tourner.
