OC Fair Announces 2017 Tribute Performances to Elton John, Selena, Caifanes & Neil Diamond in The Hangar

Costa Mesa, Calif. (January 24, 2017) – The OC Fair announced the return of two fan-favorite tribute performances plus two new tributes for the 2017 season in The Hangar. As always, concert and action sports tickets include Fair admission. Tickets for select events are on sale January 28. Fans of the Piano ManElton John will enjoy an authentic tribute performance of his early hits by Elton – The Early Years on Wednesday, July 19. Also making a return appearance to the OC Fair is fan-favorite Hot August Night – A Tribute to Neil Diamond covering the pop icon’s hits from the 1960s through today on Saturday, July 22. New to the OC Fair, special tributes to Mexican American pop star Selena and iconic Spanish-language rock band Caifanes by Los Chicos del 512 – A Tribute to Selena / Nubes – Tributo a Caifanes will take to The Hangar stage Friday, July 21. Tickets for these events go on sale Saturday, January 28, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster or at the OC Fair & Event Center Box Office, which is open Saturday, January 28 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone (800) 745-3000.

The 2017 OC Fair is July 14-August 13 and will offer 23 days and nights of food, rides, shopping, exhibits, animals and headline performances in the Pacific Amphitheatre, nightly music in The Hangar and adrenaline-inducing events in the Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase at ocfair.com or from the on-site Box Office (limited hours.) Free parking and shuttle service are available on Saturdays and Sundays from the Experian parking structure located off the Bristol St. exit of the 405 freeway.
