Costa Mesa, CA: The OC Fair scored once again with a dynamite performance by the tribute band to Queen, Queen Nation. Playing to a Sold Out audience on Wed, August 4, those lucky enough to gain entrance into the Hangar, as most of the tickets were purchased online, could hardly wait for the 8:30 dimming of the lights and the band to appear on stage. Even the “Standing Room Only” areas were filling up by those who did not plan ahead but wanted to hear and see this great band!

As the lights dimmed there was a rush to the seats and cheers could be heard throughout the building in anticipation of the explosion to come as the band lit up the Queen’s Crown would be performing song after song. Having had the opportunity of hearing Queen Nation at several events, I knew what was coming and so did most of the others. I believe about 65%+ were returning followers and about 35% newbies, ready to join in their fan club!

The audience was delighted to hear their favorite songs and sing along with them. Often repeating the lead singers creative babble the best they could. As the band members moved around the stage, each one created additional enthusiasm with their moves, looks and great voices!

Yes, even those outside the Hangar were dancing and singing too in the warm summer night. Smiles were everywhere and all were greatly entertained!

The OC Fair is careful in their selection of bands which cover a broad spectrum in music and style. With the popular events, music, games, rides, animals, food, products and services offered at this year’s 2021 Fair, it’s no wonder that most every day is sold out! Be sure to get your tickets in advance for this LAST WEEK of the OC Fair so you don’t miss out on all that the Fair has to offer!
