Rahim Shafa’s Re-sentencing Hearing

Weinberg: will defend Lexington MA physician Rahim Shafa during a Re
Sentencing Hearing. The honorable Margaret Guzman, a Biden appointed judge who has
practiced since 2023 will consider her harsh sentencing guidelines which landed the scape goat
Dr. in federal prison for 3 years. She is under the microscope of the appellate court.
Currently close friend of President Trump attorney Peter Ticktin plans to write a presidential
pardon for Dr Shafa and potentially other inmates held in the Pennsylvania white collar prison
camp at Minersville.
Mr. Ticktin was a legal advocate for Tina Peter’s the election clerk who was recently released
from a Colorado Prison. Yesterday on The Case for America Broadcast (RAV) he announced the
likelihood of Emergency Election Marshall Law by the midterm elections for this fall.
Election Advisory Commission Is being refreshed with up to 4 new members but a real threat to
our elections is looming. Machines which have already been indicted have been approved in
some states. Regarding Dr. Shafa’s case, Mr. Ticktin commented this week, “I’m sorry
that he lost the appeal.”
From Prison Dr. Shafa wrote the following:
“I am concerned that the remand response should precisely identify the factual and legal basis
for the fraud and legal basis for the fraud cross-reference rather than merely restate the original
sentencing conclusion. I respectfully ask whether the Court should be required to identify
exactly what conduct established fraudulent intent, particularly in light of the Jury’s acquittals on
fraud-related theories and the fact that the surviving misbranding verdict was not the intent-to
defraud felony theory. My concern is whether conduct rejected by the jury was nevertheless
used to materially increase the sentencing calculation. I ask whether the record concerning Dr.
Moran’s testimony in the Gooberman matter should be considered. I ask whether the Court’s
relevant analysis improperly attributed a broader commercial operation to me. I
respectfully question whether the record supports treating me as sharing the purpose,
scope, or fraudulent intent of a much broader operation. “
