San Diego, Ca. The 42nd edition of the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl will feature the USC Trojans against the Iowa Hawkeyes on December 27th, broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and Sirius XM Radio starting at 5 PM Pacific. Each team won five of their final six games of the season earning them a post season bowl berth. Twenty second ranked USC (8-4), representing the Pac 12 Conference, averages 463 yards per game. Sixteenth ranked Iowa, from the Big 10, is led by one of the nations best defenses allowing 303 yards per game and only 13 points. This will be the 10th game between the two Universities with the Trojans winning seven of the previous nine meetings. The Trojans are appearing in their third Holiday Bowl and Iowa is making their fourth trip to San Diego. USC is 35-19 all-time in bowl games, Iowa is 16-15-1.
Leading up to the game, USC will enjoy Sea World on Christmas Day while Iowa will visit the San Diego Zoo. The Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade, presented by Hilton, will feature world class marching bands and floats on December 26.
