Christian Iranian-American & Jewish Israeli-American Unite to Celebrate the Downfall of the Islamic Republic and Safety and Security for the United States and Israel

Atlanta, GA, March 2, 2026…  Breaking developments in Iran and the imminent fall of the Islamic Republic make the timing and the content of the Root & Branch Unity Conference even more compelling. Abundant personal stories from the perspectives of the unique team of founders of Root & Branch make this timely and exciting. The Root & Branch Unity Conference will take place from March 6-7 in Atlanta, GA. The conference will bring Jews and Christians together in support of Israel, and discuss the breaking situation in Iran with the first time that the Islamic Republic is actually threatened with its demise in 47 years. The founders will discuss the threat to Iranians by the Islamic regime, the barrage of missiles being fired at Israel, and threats to United States, US interests, other Arab counties, and the West in general.

Jewish and Chrisitan leaders from a wide range of backgrounds will participate as part of panel discussions, prayer, and other important dialogues all to foster unity based on the model and personal example of its founders.

While planning the Conference was without advanced knowledge of current events, in many ways God’s divine hand is clearly at play.

Root & Branch Co-Founder Marziyeh Amirizadeh will share about her inspiring and compelling story being arrested and sentenced to death in Iran where she was born, because she converted to Christianity. She will also share her personal insight about what’s going on in Iran today and prospects for its future.

The timing of the Conference and her keynote remarks could not be more significant. In addition to the historic current events unfolding, it is also the week that Jews and Christians around the world celebrate the miraculous deliverance of the Jewish people in Persia, 2500 years ago under a different antisemitic tyrant, as recorded in the Book of Esther. It is also the week of the anniversary of Amirizadeh’s 2009 arrest and being sentenced to death in Iran for the “crime” of converting to Christianity. Now, with Iran on the verge of freedom, all this is a gripping story, and sequence of events that participants will be riveted by.

Jonathan Feldstein is the other co-founder, is an American born Orthodox Israeli Jew. In addition to hosting and explaining the traditional rituals of Shabbat and Friday night kosher dinner, he will moderate a panel on March 7, “Personal Update from Israel” including the mother of Sgt. Rose Lubin, an Atlanta native, who was killed by a teenage Palestinian Arab terrorist in November 2023. Congressman Earl “Buddy” Carter (R-GA) will also participate and deliver personal remarks. With the war going on, this will be particularly gripping and timely.

Having led the initiative in Congress to have the daughter of Islamic Republic leader Ali Laranjani fired from Emory University last month, Congressman Carter will also participate in an informal dialogue with Amirizadeh about their insight on agents of the Islamic Republic manipulating the freedoms that Americans have and which Iranians are being killed for by the tens of thousands since January.

Amirizadeh will also hold a candid dialogue with participants about the need to end the Islamic Republic, how to free Iran and its future, and what that will mean for Israel, the United States and the rest of the world.

Root & Branch is a partnership between NewPersia.org and the Genesis 123 Foundation, and has pioneered a vision known as the first olive harvest pilgrimage in Israel.  It will hold its third olive harvest in the fall of 2026, and is offering a unique anointing oil made from the oil of the olives harvested by Christian volunteers and blended with a special mix of all biblical fragrances. The proceeds of this and other Root & Branch projects will be used to support Israelis of all backgrounds who have been impacted by the war that started with the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack and massacre.  Co-Founders Amirizadeh and Feldstein will share plans for their bigger vision that will propel Root & Branch to plant roots that are deeper and wider, making warm and ongoing relations between Jews and Christians.
