200+ Rockets Fired Into Israel

Rockets fired from Gaza have been rained down on Israel Monday in a barrage that seemed to have no end. Many rockets exploded from the Gaza region to the town of Ashkelon and as far away as Jerusalem, 60 miles from the Gaza strip. For 11 hours from evening to the early morning hours, sirens and pounding could be heard sending most people from Jerusalem to southern Israel into bomb shelters.

It was said that Hamas committed a double war crime, “Hamas fired at Israeli cities and towns, while hiding behind it’s own Arab citizens in densely populated neighborhoods of the Gaza Strip.”

Prime Minister Netanyah, “Israel will respond with great force. We will not tolerate attacks on our territory, or on our citizens. I say to you, citizens of Israel, the current conflict could continue for some time.  

PM Netanyahu, “A struggle is now being waged for the heart of Jerusalem. It is not a new struggle. It is the struggle between intolerance and tolerance, It has been waged before over the heart of Jerusalem for hundreds of years, since the rise of the 3 monotheistic faiths.”

Although 80,000 Muslems had been freely allowed by Israel to pray on the Temple Mount, Israel was accused of “storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque.” Would 80,000 people let 100 police storm anything?

Temple Mount Closed to Jews on Monday – Jerusalem Day! Following a Monday morning assessment of the situation in Jerusalem, the Police Commissioner decided that in view of the sensitive situation, there would be no visits by Jews to the Temple Mount on Jerusalem Liberation Day. But100,000 Muslims were allowed to pray on the Temple Mount Monday.

Jerusalem Day Event – “The March of the Flags is canceled,” said Organizers. Event Organizers arranging marches through Jerusalem’s Old City, including the Muslim Quarter, pointed at the latest restrictions by the Israel police as the reason for the move. Later they moved the March to different streets and areas of Jerusalem. As the March began, rockets began raining in from Gaza, people scattered and ran for the nearest bomb shelters.

The picture above is of the Al-Aqsa mosque where Muslim men pray every Friday. It is believed that Muhammed was transported by his ‘winged beast’ from Mecca in Arabia to this great mosque on a night journey. So this became the 3rd holiest site of Islam after Mecca and Medina. The Golden Dome of the Rock is a shrine and where women pray.

International Union of Muslim Scholars funded By Qatar And Turkey, urge Muslims To Wage Jihad and sacrifice their souls for Al-Aqsa mosque. It adds that whoever is unable to come to the battlefront himself must help the jihad fighters financially, and thus “illuminate Al-Aqsa,” just as the Palestinians who are deployed on the front, illuminate it with their blood and their souls.

The sermon states that Prophet Muhammad spoke about “the battle to liberate Al-Aqsa from the Jews,” and quotes the hadith stating that, on Judgement Day, the Muslims will fight the Jews and even the stones and the trees will betray the Jews hiding behind them. Ramadan is also seen as the month of jihad and martyrdom, in which the Muslims scored outstanding victories throughout their history.

Arabs called on their brothers in the Gaza Strip to join the battle for Jerusalem, and events are planned at “The centers of friction with the IDF in Judea and Samaria, also known as ‘The West Bank’
