3/16/18 – A Muslim resident plowed into a group of soldiers, killing two and critically injuring two others.
3/18/18 – A 32-year-old father of four who worked as a security guard at an excavation site in the Old City, succumbed to multiple stab wounds to his torso.
3/18/18 – The IDF destroyed two terrorist tunnels leading from the Gaza Strip into Israel. Netanyahu said, “The time has come for the International Community to realize that the financial aid given to Hamas is being used underground.” The people continue to suffer in the Gaza Strip due to lack of medical aid, electricity and water, which their Government is expected to supply.
3/18/18 – An Israeli man was injured after he accidentally entered a Palestinian Authority-controlled town near Beitar Illit south of Jerusalem. (Len and I were in this area earlier in the day.) The man, who was driving on a motorcycle, took the wrong exit, and found himself in the Palestinian town. He was attacked by rock-throwing terrorists and suffered a head injury. IDF forces were dispatched to the scene and transported him to the hospital.
Guatemala will move it’s Embassy to Jerusalem on May 16th, two days after the United States moves its embassy to Jerusalem on May 14th, on my birthday!! Ten more countries in talks to move embassies to Israel’s Capital.
Turkey’s President, Erdogan exposes the regime’s desire to form an “Army of Islam” to attack and destroy the State of Israel. Palestinian Authority (PA) Demands Hamas Turn Over Gaza – PA President Abbas said that “If everything is in our hands, we will take full responsibility for Gaza. If everything is not in our hands, Hamas will have to take full responsibility for everything in Gaza and the PA will cut all funding it currently sends to the Strip.
The PA wants control of Gaza and the ‘West Bank’ and make them into one nation called ‘Palestine’. The United Nations (UN) Humanitarian Coordinator McGoldrick didn’t answer the question, “How the Palestinian Authority can govern a State that would need $540 Million from donors per year to keep from collapsing.” Many Palestinians tell me they do not want to live under the PA, a harsh leadership who doesn’t help it’s people.
Gun control has been proven to be a dismal failure in Israel. The Israeli Arab communities are rife with illegal weapons, with some police estimates putting the number of unlicensed weapons in the Arab sector as high as 500,000. Think about that for a second: The most heavily guarded borders in the world and a highly professional Shin Bet are still not enough to prevent criminals from obtaining illegal firearms. the overwhelming majority of terror attacks in Israel are stopped by armed civilians, not law enforcement.
The US House of Representatives unanimously passed the Hamas Human Shields Prevention Act, which sanctions Hamas for violating human rights standards by using civilians as human shields.
Oil Found in Israel – Zion Oil & Gas several months ago began drilling at its new license in the Jezreel Valley, following the vision of company founder John Brown, who believes vast amounts of oil will be found in the Holy Land to the benefit and blessing of Israel. The Dallas-based Christian-run company announced on Tuesday that it has found clear evidence of oil at the well.
