It seems like something out of Communist Cuba or a fictional story.
But it just happened that Attorney General Garland’s #1 enemy was just raided by the FBI!
In light of President Trump’s home being raided by the FBI, this might not seem like a shocker — But it should be (see article on Trump Raid).
Congressman Scott Perry’s cellphone was seized by FBI agents carrying a search warrant.
What was his crime? The Congressman put before the House a bill to impeach Attorney General Garland. He is the leading critic of the DOJ, speaking out against the weaponization of the Department of Justice by Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Biden Administration.
Perry said of the raid, “Three agents visited me while I was traveling with my family and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting member of Congress.”
The FBI raid on Perry comes 3 months after the January 6 committee subpoenaed Perry, along with House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy, and representatives Jim Jordan, Mo Brooks, and Andy Biggs — All of them declined the committee’s requests to appear.
During a press conference after the FBI’s raid, Perry lambasted the FBI for acting like a “banana-republic.”
House Minority leader also blasted Garland and the DOJ, saying “Criminals run rampant across our cities, but Garland’s politicized DOJ is targeting President Trump and members of Congress.”
Since Perry’s incident, the FBI has expanded their “investigation” of Perry. They’re even questioning and subpoenaing state representatives in Pennsylvania to obtain any information they may have on Congressman Perry.
Why?
Because Perry had the audacity to question the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. Perry was cited over 50 times in a Senate Judiciary report, for his efforts to help Trump investigate election irregularities in Pennsylvania.
Perry has been leading the call for impeaching Attorney General Garland, for lying under oath before Congress, claiming the Department of Justice did not target parents at school board meetings, or label them as “domestic terrorists”… However, documents from the DOJ showed that the organization did label parents who questioned school board members and their curriculum as “domestic terrorists”.
This is another reason Garland and the FBI’s targeting of Perry and other conservatives, and Republicans seems suspicious, overtly politicized, and weaponizing of the government against its political opponents.
Obviously, we cannot trust the FBI.
We cannot trust the Department of Justice.
They have become too political and must be restructured immediately and completely for the survival of our Republic.
